Sevilla knock Manchester United out of the UCL

Manchester United were thumped out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage after a terrible performance ended in a 2-1 home thrashing by Sevilla.

Substitute Wissam Ben Yedder was the match-winner for the Spanish side, shooting from inside the region only two minutes after coming on and heading in at the back post from a corner.

United leave the competition alongside Tottenham, however Premier League leaders Manchester City and Liverpool advanced to Friday’s last-8 draw. Chelsea can go along with them if they beat Barcelona on Wednesday.
