More than 80 stocks hit fresh 52-weeks high : Market Now

On Monday, the benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 26.3 points down at 10,363.40 in morning trade as investors reduced their bets after Standard & Poor’s kept India’s sovereign rating unchanged amid subdued Asian cues. More than 80 stocks hit fresh 52-week high despite weak domestic equity markets.

Shares of Goldstar Power Ltd., GPT Infraproj, Donear BSE 3.03% Ind, Oswal Green Tech, Zuari Global, GHCL BSE 2.36%, Bombay Rayon BSE 2.58%, Seshasayee Paper BSE 0.21%, Naga Dhunseri Group Ltd., Sagardeep Alloys Ltd., Vikas GlobalOne BSE 1.16%, N K Industries BSE -4.94%, Marathon Nextgen BSE 2.41%, Aspinwall and Company and Skipper Ltd BSE -0.47% hit their fresh 52-week high during the trade on NSE.

However, stocks such as Gangotri Text, Gemini BSE -4.72% Comm, Northgate BSE 0.00% Com, W S Industries BSE 19.90%, Hind Syntex BSE 4.98%, Goenka Diamond BSE 4.00%, Shyam Telecom BSE 4.83%, Akash Infra-Projects Ltd. touched their fresh 52-week low.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL Ltd, ONGC BSE 1.36%, NTPC BSE -0.89%, Axis Bank BSE 1.68%, Aurobindo Pharm and Larsen & Toubro were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, HPCL BSE 1.68%, BPCL BSE 1.96%, Indian Oil BSE 1.98% Corp and HULBSE 1.77% were trading in the red.

Overall, 19 shares were trading in green in Nifty 50 index, while 31 were trading in red in the morning trade.
