Emery asks Ramsey to focus on his football

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery has asked midfielder Aaron Ramsey to concentrate on his football amid the ongoing contract talks with the London-based club.

Wilshere and Sanchez have moved to other clubs, after the negotiations falling out.

Former German international, Mesut Ozil, who announced that he won’t be playing international football after Russia 2018, became the club’s highest-paid player when he finalized the contract in January.

Arsenal have already handed in a new contract to the Welsh midfielder, but according to the reports, Ramsey is asking for a significant hike in his salary o his current deal.

The Welsh midfiedler has featured in 234 Premier League games and has scored 36 goals, since leaving his hometown club Cardiff City in £4.8 million move.

Former defender Arsenal. Martin Keown said that the Gunners should be “desperate” to keep Ramsey with the team. Ramsey has won 3 FA Cups with Arsenal and have scored two match winning goals at the Wembley.
