Citroen India is ready to launch 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross SUV after the Citroen C3 hatchback launch in the India. Several days before, the automobile company released a teaser of the car. Numerous modifications can be seen from inside to outside of the C5 Aircross.

The advanced design of the SUV with split headlamps and new twin-line LED DRLS captures the attention. It is equipped with vertical air intakes, along with the newly designed LED tail lamps at the rear. The major updates include diamond-cut alloy wheels measuring 18 inches, with blacked-out mirror caps, and roof rails in matte black color, along with the revamped logo of Citroen.
The cabin layout appears similar to the C5X. The SUV will feature a freestanding infotainment system of 10-inches and an instrumental cluster of 12.3 inches that displays navigation. Other major features include an electric panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and numerous other things.
The quality of the cushions is enhanced with additional padding of 15 mm, according to Citroen, with heating and cooling functionality, along with the automatic gearbox’s gear lever for replacing a toggle switch unit.
The 2022 Citroen C5 is projected to experience Citroen’s highway driver assistance and ADAS. It includes forward collision prevention, an adaptive cruise control system, and lane-keeping assistance along with an adaptive cruise control system with stop-and-go function, and others.
Considering the mechanical aspects, the car will experience no changes. The SUV will be powered by a 2.0- liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 177 bhp power and 400 Nm torque paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The cost of the car awaiting the launch is likely to range between Rs. 37 lakhs to Rs. 40 lakhs. It will compete with the recently launched with newly launched Hyundai Tucson, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Compass, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
