Jigsaw CEO Peter Ruis steps down

The CEO of Jigsaw is stepping down from the High Street fashion chain with prompt impact.

Peter Ruis is leaving Jigsaw following four and a half years in charge.

He will be supplanted by Jigsaw’s director Charles Atterton who the organization said “will return to an executive role”.

A year ago, Jigsaw’s controlling shareholder and founder John Robinson named KPMG to help discover a purchaser for the business.

Mr. Ruis, who joined Jigsaw from John Lewis in September 2013, said his choice to leave was not “”taken lightly”.

He said: “As I head off to my next challenge I feel immense pride in what has been achieved. The brand is well set to continue its stellar growth in the future.”

Mr. Atterton was already joint CEO of Jigsaw with Mr Robinson in the vicinity of 1997 and 2013, when Mr. Ruis joined the gathering.

Jigsaw said a year ago that it had gotten various methodologies about purchasing a minority or lion’s share stake in the organization, which additionally has stores in Australia, Ireland, Singapore and the US.
