“Two people were killed when a car bomb was detonated just outside the Yemeni Finance Ministry offices in the southern city of Aden on Wednesday (29/11/2017)” said the residents and the hospital officials.
They said that the blast force shook the Khor Maksar area of Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen, causing severe damage to the six-storey building. The blast force also shattered the windows of the adjacent houses and ambulances were seen racing to the scene, as sounds of gunfire were heard in the area, they said.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
“Two people have arrived dead to the hospital, while three people were in a critical condition” said an official at the Jumhouriya hospital.
The official also said that the medics have said they believe that more casualties were there at the place the blast took place, but due to an exchange of gunfire that was going on in that area, no one could reach them.
