Barcelona’s Colombian center-back Yerry Mina has been signed by Everton for £27.19 million. Mina is joined by his Barcelona teammate Andre Gomes, who joined the Toffees on a season long loan.
Brazilian winger Bernard has also been signed on a permanent move to Everton on the deadline day.
The Catalan club has said that they have the right to buy the 23-year-old Colombian defender back.
The 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes has cost the Toffees £2.0 million loan fee.
With Mina’s arrival at Goodison Park, the Toffees have now spent an excess of £60 million in the last fourteen days following the arrival of Richarlison from the Hornet for a fee of around £35 million, a deal that could rise to £50 million.
New Everton manager Marco Silva described Mina as a quality player.
Mina scored three of Colombia’s six goal at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia. Colombia were knocked out in the round of 16 before getting knocked out by the three lions. Mina had scored a goal from a corner in the dying moments of the last-16 tie against England and took the match to the penalties where Colombia came second best against England.
Mina had joined the Catalan giants for a fee of £10.44 million in January from the Brazilian side Palmeiras and featured in six cup and league games as Barcelona won the Spanish League last season.
Andre Gomes was in the Portuguese squad that won the EURO 2016 in France.
Gomes featured in 46 league games in the two years he was at Camp Nou.
Gomes said that new Everton manager was a major factor behind his arrival at Goodison Park.
Brazilian winger Bernard was out of contract after leaving Shakhtar Donetsk back in June as a free agent.
Bernard has featured in 14 games for Brazil and have scored once for the Selecao. His last appearance in a Brazilian shirt came at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
