BP fuel stations over the UK are currently ready to acknowledge card installments after a glitch which kept going more than three hours.
BP had said before its stations were just ready to acknowledge money and that it was guiding clients to its ATMs.

BP has 1,280 BP stations over the UK.
Roadways England had before tweeted that all motorway benefit regions with BP fuel stations were influenced by the issue.
Adam Johnston, who works at Spital BP station in Bebington, Wirall, said the card installment issue had been “an absolute nightmare” with “queues out the door and people struggling to get onto the forecourt”.

He said the station was regularly busier than ordinary BP fuel stations since it was likewise a M&S establishment.
