Volvo Penta has appointed Miron Thoms as the VP and head of Indian operation starting this November.

A statement from the company said, “Thoms will be the site manager for the Volvo Penta Global Purchasing Team in India and a member of the Country Management Team of Volvo Group India Private Limited.”

“In support of our growth ambitions, it is critical that we continue to leverage the ‘Make in India’ approach by serving the market through local production of Volvo Penta engines in Pithampur. Volvo Penta has a fantastic global brand image today, which we can build upon further to have a stronger presence on the Indian market.”, Thomas said on his new assignment.
